THE INELOQUENT AWOE Magazine Exclusive Jen G’s Music View On The Ineloquent
Beyond the name, The Ineloquent I found nothing ineloquent about Daniel and Georgi Eakins or Pablo and Bethany Calderon when I first met them a year ago. These four worshipers came to share the heart of Christ from the moment they said hello. Yeah, the band is only made up of the guitar styles of Daniel, Pablo and the brilliant piano styles of Georgi, but Bethany, Pablo’s wife did much of the behind the scenes work unto the Lord. With smiles on their face and high anticipation they unloaded their van with a joyful spirit. Joyful is what you get around The Ineloquent.
They’re fun, friendly, sincere and free spirited because of their relationship with Jesus. Secure in where God is taking them with willing spirits, I was very excited to see them all the second time around. They came in with the same willingness and openness as before, but this time they had something else to share, their heart for Compassion International.
Compassion International a ministry that has been around since 1952, that has helped over 1 million children in 25 countries with food, shelter, education, healthcare and Christian training. The Seeing Things Your Way tour isn’t just about sharing the gospel, but about helping needy children on every level. Something The Ineloquent took to heart and shared with all who attended.
If I had to say something about Daniel, Georgi, Pablo and Bethany it’s God can do amazing things through those who are willing to go. The Ineloquent are willing to go and share there lives with anyone who will listen. They have the heart to help, to give and to love. They work together with Christ as the center of everything they do.
I don’t know where God is taking them, but I know as long as their willing to go he will use their hearts and music to be a witness to those hurting. In their humility they will continue to be an encouragement through their music and sincerity of heart. Today I would like for you to meet Georgi, Daniel & Pablo...The Ineloquent.
THE INELOQUENT: SEEING THINGS HIS WAY
Georgiana Eakins Changed From The Inside Out
I grew up going to church, reading my Bible occasionally, asking Christ into my heart every night
(just in case) and trying my best to do “good”
things to get into heaven. I didn’t understand
what Grace meant until my junior year in high
school. Up until then I lived a double life, one at
school with school friends and one at home with
church friends. I dated a guy 4 years older than
me against my parents will for 8 months but by
God’s grace I was caught and rightfully grounded
for “life” according to my parents. During my
“life sentence” I felt that I had no one I could turn
to, so I opened my Bible for the first time in a very
long time and God’s Word suddenly came alive to
me. He specifically revealed His Grace and forgiveness to me in Romans 8:1. I was finally free
from the law of sin and death and because of His
grace, alive in Jesus Christ!
On Seeing Things Your Way...
I would have to say “Vanity”. It comes from my
favorite book of the Bible, Ecclesiastes. It is
a constant reminder to me that everything this
world has to offer is vanity, futile, like chasing
after the wind.
Nothing I do on this earth will last, only what I do
for Christ will count in eternity. King Solomon
encourages us to fear God while we are young,
stop chasing after the wind and follow Him now
while we still have breath.
“In this life there is no person or thing
that can fill the void that is in all of us;
no one but Jesus Christ can
truly satisfy.”
Daniel Eakins Do I really believe that Jesus is the way...
I gave my heart to Jesus at a young age when I
was old enough to understand that I was a sinner
in need of a Savior. My parents were very influential in helping me understand what relationship
with God looks like but I think there comes a time
in everyone’s life when they need to really own
their faith and make it their own.
This came for me when I stepped out on my own
and went off to Bible college. I was faced with
the question “Do I really believe that Jesus is the
way, the truth and the life and do I really want
to commit my life to His service?” I found the
answer to be a resounding yes.
The message that I am passionate about
proclaiming through our music has many
facets, but at the core of that message is the
truth that God loved us enough to send His
Son Jesus to become the perfect sacrifice for
my sins and for the sins of the whole world
and in doing so has given the promise of
eternal life to those who believe.
On Seeing Things Your Way Album...
Is the song “107” because it is the most personal song. It tells the story of my
Dad’s 10 year battle with brain cancer and my struggle to trust the Lord through
the difficult ups and downs. The message of the song is that God is faithful and
trustworthy, even in the darkest times when we doubt Him most. The problem
is not that we can’t trust Him. The problem is that we have a hard time seeing
things His way. He knows exactly what He is doing and even though we can’t
always see, it is necessary for us to surrender our doubts and our fears and to
trust Him unconditionally.
Pablo E. Calderon Running Away From The Problem... My parents got divorced when I was a year old.
Soon after, my mother remarried and it was
through my step-grandparents that I was introduced to the Lord Jesus. At age nine, I accepted
Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior! During my
last year of high school my mother and stepfather
began to have marriage problems, which resulted
in another divorce. Trying to run away from the
problems at home(Houston), I chose to go to college hundreds of miles away in Dubuque, IA. That
is where I met, not only my bandmates (Daniel
and Georgiana), but my beautiful wife, Bethany.
Fast-forward five years to today, and I can truly
testify about God’s faithfulness in my life. He has
been restoring and saving my family’s lives one by
one and teaching me what it is to live by faith. It
still amazes me how the Lord uses my life, full of
failures, selfishness, and pride, to bring glory and
honor to His name.
On Seeing Things Your Way... 107 would be my favorite song on the album. Why?
I guess you have to come to one of our concerts and
see why I believe is the best song on the album.
It’s about Daniel’s struggle to trust God in the
midst of his father’s battle with cancer, to the point
of questioning His existence. Even after hearing it
many times, his testimony never gets old. It is by far
one of the most powerful stories I have ever heard in
my life. To hear my friend share one of his darkest
times in his walk with God and to see what the Lord
has and is doing in his life is another example of
God’s faithfulness!
